Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

Quite different from european lagers. Allthough they say it’s brewed with european ingredients. Aroma is hoppy, slightly malty. Taste is sweet, malty, more hoppy and bitter in the end. Good balance, pleasant pilsener. Thanks to NoiZe for the import.

Bottle. Medium clear gold with a decent white head. Pleasant grassy hop aroma. Flavor has a nice hop bite over a solid dry malt background. Thin to medium bodied with nice carbonation.

Bottled. Pours a clear deep golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is malty and slighty earthy/grassy and spicy with noble hops. Flavor is dry and bready/malty with a decent spicy and herbal hop profile. Very clean yeast profile as should be for a lager. Medium bodied and crisp and easy drinking. Quality pilsner.

A light cirtric fruity aroma wafts from the smallish white head of this clear golden pilsner. Hops are prominent with a very bitter finish that takes up residence on the back of the tongue for long while. Thin bodied and refreshing, and slightly grainy. A decent, but not thrilling pils.

Golden, small white head. Vague spicy hop aroma. Thin bready flavour of spices and pale malts. Light herbal aftertaste.

A nice and refreshing pilsener with a golden colour. Aroma is grassy and hoppy. The flavour is initially slightly sweet ending in a pleasant but quite long bitter finish. Nice, but no way near Mr. Oliver’s finest brews (but keep in mind; this is "just" a pilsener).

Pours a very pale gold. Clear and fizzy with a thin white head. Not much lace. Smells lightly grassy and hoppy. Taste is grassy and lightly hoppy. Some sweetness from the pale malt. Creamy. Goes down easy. Nothing special about this pilsener but it’s not bad either. Nice on a hot day.

this is a decent pilsner, but pilsners not my bag baby. It’s close a pilsner urquel in its dryness and flavor but something is missing. But maybe my opinion will change after i finish the six pack
