Dec 29, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is floral and bitter. Taste is really floral and fruity with lots of spicey notes and some hops. Wierd pilsner!

Dec 25, 2008 12oz bottle. Clear dull gold color with a fine white fuzz head. Sweetly floral nose lightly fruity grain and some spicy hops. Flavors are lightly sweet and floral with nice saltine cracker malt base and bunches of spicy nobles. Light medium body with fresh carbonation.

Nov 30, 2008 Pours a classic straw with a white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of cloves, sulfur, biscuits, and some fruity esters. Light body. Not much in the taste department. Thin, grainy, with some spice and short bitterness. Lacking the complexity of the better known pilseners.

Nov 27, 2008 Bottle. Another pils that I will not be trying again. Gold pour, white head. Aroma is malty, grainy and some hops. In all reality this is better than most Amercian pils...but I just don’t like the style. Flavor is malty and grainy with a half decent hit of hops.

Oct 15, 2008 Updated: May 26, 2009Clear pale golden color with a decent, though not big, head. Clean pale malt aroma; breadlike. Crisp, hoppy, sweet malt taste with bread dough characteristics. Very nice and true to style. Kind of a combo of Czech and German pilsners.

Oct 11, 2008 Draft pour at some dive bar in Brooklyn. Nice aroma, bright yellow color, virtually no taste. As a huge fan of Brooklyn’s lager and Brown, and a fan of pilsners, this was a huge disappointment.

Oct 6, 2008 Pours a nice, clear straw color with a finger of head that becomes nice lacing when it dissipates. Nose is slightly spicy of hops. There is a mild sweetness up front followed by a satisfying bitterness that you’d expect out of a pilsner. Body is pretty thin, but that’s acceptable fo thos type of beer. It is a typical pilsner with more flavor and another strong offering from the folks at Brooklyn.
