Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

Small off-white head on a bright yellow-amber clear liquid. Medium carb and watery body. God hops flavor and malty character. Corn? A bit watery in flavor. Strong adhesive finish...

Dark amber with a quickly dissappearing white head. As has been noted below, this beer has a nice biscuity malt thing present with a thinner pilsner expected body, and just enough hops to balance out, but nothing exciting. This is my #200 here at rb!

Well made Pilsner, right up there with Prima from Victory. Translucent yellow with a moderate white head. Classic in appearance for a pils. Floral aroma of noble hops is apparent. Slight to moderate bitterness. Crisp dry finish. My favorite pilsner are made in America, which may be due to freshness, Brooklyn & Victory are the best of those made in America. Pilsners as a style deserve more love here on RB, they are light, refreshing and frankly require more craftsmanship than many of the more appreciated styles.

Nice golden pour with a fluffy, bubbly white head. Nice aroma of bready malt, and some soft hops. Flavour is more hops than malt, but the malt really comes through in the finish, and add a really nice authentic pils finish, nice stuff.

Some sulfury notes in the nose. Beer pours a golden, clear with thin white head. Very little malt and hop characteristics. Not a fan.

Malty aroma. Golden colored, carbonated. Flavor malty, some citrus. Well rounded for a pilsner. Easily the best I’ve ever had.

Gold in color with a thin white head. Bready aroma. Flavor is fairly light on the hops with a yeasty, bready malt thing going on, slightly sour. Not bad, I suppose, but nothing spectacular.

Poured a gold color with a white head. Aroma is malt and bread. Flavor is malty up front with a grassy hop finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Decent for a try out, but I wouldn’t buy again.
