Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

12 oz. bottle. Decent pils color, big pouffy head. Malt smell is pretty light, to let some of the noble hops in. Date notch is "Best before 08/08," so not in full flower of freshness, but a fine taste of German hops with spice and pepper. Crispy malt flavor. A fine, solid beer and good example of a pils.

Somewhat of a stale cracker malt - light hops, somewhat of a lemon-grass note, a little bit of honey sweetness. Medium bodied drink

This is a substantial-looking (and tasting) pilsner. Rich nose of malt and floral hops. Amber pour. Like other offerings from this brewery, the yeast flavor comes across, and the hops do too. This dry and sharp brew is an unusual version of a pilsner. The residual flavor is slightly sour and hoppy. Good.

Oddly enough from my BOMC. Golden in color with a nice white head. Nice crisp smell of hops. This brew was very fresh. Really good. Very refreshing and crisp. Nice hop bit to it. Very drinkable. Another good beer from a excellent brewer.

Pours a clear orange-yellow gold with a creamy white head that hangs around for a while, has a good amount of honey like sweetness and a pilsner bread aromas with floral fragrances in the mist, pilsner malt and faint bread flavors with a good hop bitterness and citrus that follows from the initial drink to the finish, there is some bitterness that carries on after the finish, a very nice drink, medium mouth feel or so, good and tasty, I recommend it.

Pours a strawish color with minimal head. Aroma of citrus. Flavor is lemon and malty and somewhat bitter. For a pilsner its pretty good.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear straw color with a thin white head. The aroma is citrus, wheat grass, and pale malt. The flavor is bready/biscuity malt with some lemon citrus. The finish has a general bitterness to it. Decent pilsner, its just hard for me to get excited by this style.
