A good mild Pils with a slight hoppy aftertaste. A good beer and one of the better USA beers. Cole (294), , Alberta, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Pours deep amber with a tall white head. Arome is very malty with a hint of Sazz aroma. Flavour is very fresh, but still a bit too malty for a pilsner. Not a bad beer but a poor pilsner in my opinion. TheHulk (129), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Very pleasant malt aroma but it could be a lot stronger. Pilsners are always pretty sad looking but this one is fairly dark and looks like it’s sun-tanned somehow. The malt flavour also has that slow burnt aroma and taste going on, its nice and slow. Hops come on quite strongly at the end, could use just a few more % to match ;) Drinking this reminds me of sitting down in the shade after a hot, dry, dusty day of intense sweating labour and drinking your first sip of I’m done working for today beer. It even has the sun burnt aroma. Thin, watery lacing that drains into a very light amber hue that is reminiscent of of any light lager from a macro-brewery. Aroma is one of chemically altered hops and the bitter swallow can be a bit skunky. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 30, 2009 Bottle: I was surprised how good this was. Nice spicy, floral notes. Nice and refreshing. It went very well with the food I was having (vegetarian fare at a restaurant near Washington Square park, manhattan).
While I’m sure there are better pils out there, I haven’t had one yet.
