on tap at the gingerman. light copper body with a fast fading white head. Seemed a little on the sweet side for my liking. Caramel-like malts seemed to hide any wheat or earthy notes i like wth this style. carbonation was modrate.

on tap at the gingerman poured a bright amber and has a nice one finger off white head. aroma has some grains, sweetness, hop spice, and fruit. mouth feel is medium and carbonation low. flavor has a nice complementing malted body and candy sugar thing. hops contribute spices and bitterness and there is a little pollen and pitted fruits. the style I have come to like, and this one has lots of interest stops along the drinking journey.

Typical wheat with a touch of alcohol on the aroma, but with an additional aroma of candied fruit and lemon. Very translucent amber-copper color. Mouth feel is a little harsh and bubbly on the tongue, and a tad thin/watery. Overall, a very delicious beer, with quite a kick. Great to drink.

A pretty amber colored beer served in one of those Brooklyn that I’m so fond of. Thin ring of white head. There’s a light apple chrispness in the aroma and maybe a bit of honey. Fruity and slightly tart flavor at the start with a lasting honey finish. Pretty good.

Tap. Moderate malt aromas of light bread, cereal, toasted and caramel, light perfume and dough for the hops and yeast, with notes of red wine, honey and a fruity hint in the background. Head is creamy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy orange/brown. Flavor is moderately sweet and lightly acidic to start, and is moderately sweet and lightly bitter in the finish. Palate is medium, oily and has a soft carbonation. It finishes lightly alcoholic. Well balanced, this Biere de Garde has all the necessary elements to call it an exceptional beer.

Burnt amber in appearance and roasty nutmeg on the aroma. Great spicy flavor and smooth finish. Well balanced beer.

Orange pour with fluffy head. Vegetal aroma. Corn, floral notes, and sweet malts. Im having a hard time believing this is a biere de garde

Draught, Redlight. Gorgeous red-orange and luminescent. Fun party for the nose, cherries and candi sugar. Medium carbonation is soft. Alcohol is a bit apparent. Has a nice candi sugar quality that almost becomes over the top but nice in general.
