Snifter @ Tyler’s Apex. Good aroma, sweet. Citrus, lemon. Peach, powdered sugar, herbal. Golden orange color, good head and lace. Bitter sweet flavor, lemon with other subtle fruits, little soapy, spiced. Lite body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, bitter dry finish. Nice brew very drinkable. Better cold, lost a little as it warmed. The first sniff seemed to have the most about it, but had enough all the way through to make it worth while.

Pale golden pour white head a spicy lemon aroma ..some lacing on the glass .. a very different taste than the usual saison had a spicy lemon earthy taste and a spice of something different which must be the zesty sorachi ace hop ..... definitely worth a try this is a good brew

Interesting IPA from Brooklyn. Was expecting a bit hoppiness here. It was described to me as a hopped witbier...

on tap @ Plan B in Simsbury as a "reserve". really nice farmhouse with an unsual character that i suppose come from the sorachi ace. very refreshing and not overbearing.

Draft at Mr. Dunderbak’s. Pours light gold with a white head. Nose is light malt, some mild hops and bitterness with citrus, grass, pepper, and spice. Flavor is similar with an enjoyable dose of light malt and very mid Sorachi bitterness. If this is what Sorachi hops do, then I like it. This is a great, relatively light Saison.

Draft at RedLight. Lightly hazy yellow gold. Hop notes of lemon, grass, and clean bitterness. Fresh, crisp grains on the malt front. Yeast adds a bit of pepper and mild dose of funk. Medium body, softly carbonated, great mouthfeel. Excellent saison.

Draft at redlight redlight. Golden with a thick white head. Lots of mint and candy in the nose, hints of the farm. Nice and crisp on the palate, though a little too thin. A bitter earthiness comes to the forefront whereas the mint and candy subside. Opens up as it warms. Pretty good. Found it hard to precisely pinpoint the sorachi hop as this is the only beer I’ve yet had (that I know of) brewed with it. I’d be interested to try another syle with this same hop.

Draught at CAH: Faint aroma of hops, yeast, and slight citrus. Poured yellow/gold/flaxen in color with a small to medium-sized, creamy, white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Very good lacing. Flavor is medium bitter. Tastes of hops, light yeast, citrus, lemon, and dish soap. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Hops and light citrus finish is slightly dry.
