Pours a clear bubbly pale gold with no head. Aroma of pears, some wood and white wine. Nice and simple flavour of sweet pears with a dry finish. This is so easy to drink, you wouldn’t even know this had alcohol in it -- kids could drink this! It was between this and Strongbow, I’m glad my wife ordered this. Pinball (2859), Allerød, Denmark

Pleasant tart fruity flavours thankfully not as sweet as expected nice and refreshing. Better than some other pear ciders I’ve tried. I preferred this to the Festival strength version. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 24, 2007 Bottle, from Morrisons. Straw gold, quickly dissipating fizzy white head and gentle condition. Low sweet buttery pear aromas, quite thin and dry in the mouth with some traces of pear and a faintly lambic farmyard note that is less exciting than it sounds. Short, briefly sweet finish.
