Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
Medium-bodied, with a subtle hop aroma, on the palate this luxurious beer has a deep, full flavour which balances a toasty maltiness, mild bitterness, and a hint of sweet herbs. It finishes clean and mostly dry, but with a faintly subtle sweetness.

Bottle. Pleasant scotchy-nose with plenty of sticky fruity malt, some caramel, and English hops. Light roast/smoke. Dark ruby body with a thick, lacing, creamy tanned head. Body is light and slightly prickly, predominately bitter with a deft touch of sweetness occasionally flittering by. Warming. Light hops and caramel in the finish with a dry and hops aftertaste. A bit too bashful, but a good one.

Got some slight chocolate in the aroma.Pours black with a medium tan head. Some roasted malt in the flavor.Thin to medium mouthfeel with some slight chocolate in the finiush. This was more of a weak stout than an ESB I think.

(50 cl bottle at The Rover, Göteborg) Clear dark red color, nice frothy lasting tan head. Sweet chocolate malt and fruity hoppy scent. Hoppy bitter and malty grainy taste with chocolate malt finish. Smooth mouthfeel and medium high bitterness.

pours black on top and dark red on the bottom... the first sip is nutty with puckering british style hops. This dark ESB finishes sweet like an oatmeal stout. not bad

This ESB pours a deep copper red color from a 500 ml bottle. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is malty, nutty, earthy and sweet. A medium bodied ESB/bitter. Malts are caramel. nutty and sweet. Hops are herbal and earthy. Lively carbonation. Nice balance. Kind of a cross between a scotch ale and an ESB. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle (500ml). Via trade with jerc. A very deep clear ruby with a large lasting foamy tan head. Lightly bitter and leafy aroma of soft hops and light roast malt, a little chocolate and earthy overtones. Taste is VERY tart - sour fruit, funky earthy hops, dark roast malt with cocoa shell bitterness - light body, almost burnt-bitter mouthfeel, mild carbonation if that, and a carbonized aftertaste. Pretty nice!

Bottle. Pours dark coppery ruby colour with a huge tan head. Aroma is malty, with some nut and some coriander. Mouth is a little bit lively, malty, slightly sweet and just a touch of alcohol. Palate is watery, but does leave a burnt malt taste. Easily gulpable. Quite ok.
