Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
Medium-bodied, with a subtle hop aroma, on the palate this luxurious beer has a deep, full flavour which balances a toasty maltiness, mild bitterness, and a hint of sweet herbs. It finishes clean and mostly dry, but with a faintly subtle sweetness.

amber/copper brown with a nice beige lacy head. I smell pepper and licorice. The first sip is nice. I taste a good balance between sweetness and bitter hop. some roasted coffee presence. Finishes bitter with a slight sticky sweetness in the aftertaste. This is a nice balanced beer. I’ve had some better, but I would like to try this again.

Sweet for an ESB, the classification seems off on this one. Malty, toatsted caramel flavors. Slightly bitter and dry in the finish but not at all overpowering. Nice ale, not overly complex, but as it warms it improves.

Pours almost black yet only medium nectar. Mild malted nose. Froth is light with ample residual effers. Dry flavors of wood, tobacco, coffee, herbs. Slightly sweetened cooked caramel. Finish is dry and slightly bitter with spicey pine tropshire that lingers. Overall: a great food ale, well ballanced.

"Very different from the other ones i have had in this style. Poured a brown red which i have not scene in this style. Nice fluffy head with solid lacing. Aroma was of dark fruits and caramel. Flacor was much the same with roasted malts thrown in. Okay but not great. "

Bottled 0,50L. Dark red color, intense and lightly hazy one; good fizz. Fine and creamy foam, medium adhesion and duration. Smooth scent, light smoked rumors, bitter, with braced malt notes. Slightly pungent taste with smoke, wood and ash aromas. Smooth and bitterish end.
