Fades pretty quickly and is general pretty disappointing. Has a dry solid stout feeling, but just slightly, at the finish. Padron4KM (400), Chandler, Arizona, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 1, 2005 Very sweet, fruity aroma with soapy, floral hops also apparent. Clear, deep brown body is topped by a decent, fine bubbled, off white head that recedes very slowly to a lasting cover. Toasted malt flavour with some spicy, herbal hop character . Very dry, short flavour though nuttiness lasts in the aftertaste. Medium body with moderately lively carbonation. Pint glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle (BB Aug-05, State Line Liquors, MD, Oct-05). rickgordon (3297), Göteborg, Sweden

Dark brown colour. Light-medium body. Notes of caramel with a subtle touch of hops and toffee. No obvious sweetness. Pretty dry, though fruity. awebster (165), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

I couldn’t get past some of the flavors though. The taste and smell of cloves and licorice ruined this beer for me. Nekronos (2265), Xalapa, Mexico
