Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
Medium-bodied, with a subtle hop aroma, on the palate this luxurious beer has a deep, full flavour which balances a toasty maltiness, mild bitterness, and a hint of sweet herbs. It finishes clean and mostly dry, but with a faintly subtle sweetness.

Bottle.Very thick and moddy. Not the kind of mouth feel I care for. A really dark ale, that’s not for the faint of heart!

Dark amber with a creamy lasting off-white head. Malty aroma with biscuit and toffee. Sweetish toffee malty flavour with a little hop and some bitterness in the finish.

Full flavor with just the right bitterness. Finishes clean with slight sweetness left lingering on the palate. One of my favorites. Goes great with a grilled steak!

Color is a very dark brown and a beautiful deep rich ruby red when held to the light. Two finger tan head that persists and leaves lovely lacing. 5 out of 5 for appearance on this one for sure! Nose of plums, raisins, wood and spices. Woody taste with notes of plums, raisins, spices, caramel, toffee, and coffee. Nicely bitter coffee finish. This one is wonderfully complex. Savor every sip!

Rich toffee aroma, with some yeast and traces of molasses. Ruby red, with a medium beige head, good lacing. Yeasty but has a nice balance of wood and cherry notes. Delayed coffee finish. Wanting in purity and hops.

Dark brown / red with a nice frothy sticky tan head. Malty aroma of cherry wood and dark fruit. Toffee flavor along with the above mentioned. A bit of hop and that brings a hint of zing. Fairly bitter. It is a nice mix of dark fruit and roasted malt effects. Unique and enjoyable!
