Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
Medium-bodied, with a subtle hop aroma, on the palate this luxurious beer has a deep, full flavour which balances a toasty maltiness, mild bitterness, and a hint of sweet herbs. It finishes clean and mostly dry, but with a faintly subtle sweetness.

12oz bottle. Pours dark. Mouth of dry figs, coffee, and toasted malts. Yet, A bit tart/sour in the overtones which has you sipping for more. Very nice.

Bottle - One thing that must be stated is how cool the label is. Ruby brown color with a huge fluffy tan head. Surprisingly sweet fruity aroma. The flavor starts off very creamy then ends crushingly bitter. A very odd combination that doesn’t really work well.

Pour is a dark red with a small tan head. Aroma is a super sweet malt with a nice caramel malt. Flavor is musty and earthy with a dense malt and a slight hop profile. This is not a bad beer and something you could drink plenty of in an evening.

Bottle. Nose of cream, hops and minerals. Pours a carotene brown beer with a thick white head. Taste is malty and sweet with some hops. Not bad.

Pours bright amber into an English pint. Off-white head recedes to skim surface. Strawberry and caramel aromas. Upfront summer fruit with a lasting sweet caramel finish.

Sweet bourbon nose...opaque dark brown. Seemed bitter, too bitter, not enough sweetness to offset it. Solid body and smooth mouth feel. Not that memorable.
