Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
This exceptional ale is brewed to the exacting standards required by the Soil Association Certification Ltd. of the United Kingdom. The malt is prepared from Organically grown Scottish barley. The hops are grown in New Zealand where the absence of pests means high quality hops can be grown organically. The pure water comes from the rolling Scottish Border hills. The end result is a light golden coloured beer full of flavour and aroma. A refreshing clean tasting beer with an excellent hop aroma and aftertaste.

Golden colour, honeyed, lemon aroma, malty and sweetish with some citric bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit boring but definitely drinkable. What tennents should taste like.

[bottled] Golden coloured with a large, frothy head. Sweet and sour aroma. Sour flavour with notes of plastic and cardboard. Is it impossible to make GOOD organic beer?

500ml bottle from Booths. It’s gold, with thin white head. Hoppy aroma. Some grassy hop, hay. It’s got some thing in the line of Summer Lightning. Too carbonated and a bit thin in malts too. Finish is too metallic. Alcohol doesn’t over do it.

Light amber colour and clear. Has a white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is sharp, hoppy, pepper. Flavor has a soft start, laqurice? Finish is bitter and dry.

Bottled, Scottish souvenier from mum. Copper with off white head. Aroma of hops, toffee and butterscotch. Light barley and malt taste with notes of caramel. Long mildly bitter hoppy finish.

Bottle (500ml). Via trade with jerc - thanks, Jer!. Slightly hazy light gold with a tinge of amber, large frothy white head. Nice cereal grain aroma, no skunk, doesn’t seem stale, soft and funky/grassy hops, hint of slightly tart fruit. Very mild flavour, touch of bottle, nice pungent grassy hop finish, still a bit of flax/grain character to it. Average, slick body, a bit astringent, slight bitter aftertaste. Not bad for the style, good hop character.
