Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
This exceptional ale is brewed to the exacting standards required by the Soil Association Certification Ltd. of the United Kingdom. The malt is prepared from Organically grown Scottish barley. The hops are grown in New Zealand where the absence of pests means high quality hops can be grown organically. The pure water comes from the rolling Scottish Border hills. The end result is a light golden coloured beer full of flavour and aroma. A refreshing clean tasting beer with an excellent hop aroma and aftertaste.

An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty - quite boring. The flavor is sweet malty with hints of honey and a light hoppy end. All in all a boring beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden, slightly hazy ale with an impressive, huge and very stable head. Quite sweetish and aromatic with only a vey discreet bitterness. A rather surprising and different ale which is also stronger than the typical Scottish ale. And the storytelling on these Broughton bottles is simply great. 190304

[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear golden. Heavily papery nose. Sweetish and medium bodied with loads of cardboard. The low hop rate leaves a lot space for the malt flavour. Sadly that consists entitrely of mashed paper and cardboard. A beer for the paper recycling.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow to orange with a white head. Light citrus fruity aroma. Flavour is sweet malty with a light citrus fruity note, minor though. Light malty and fruity finish. Easy to drink brew, nothing complex nothing wrong.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, øko alike. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (180508)

Bottle. Gusher?! Nice, candyish, flowery hop aroma. Almost clear golden colour without much head. Quite nice hop flavour, a lot like the aroma, and sweet. Nice bitterness. High carbonation. This would make a cracking cask ale.

Bottled. Golden colour with big foamy white head, lacing. Hoppy nose with metallic and hayish hints. Soft hoppy flavour, which grows a bit in finish. Quite boring and feels a bit empty with only hoppyness.
