downender (1616), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Aug 2, 2008 Bought as M&S Organic Ale. Amber coloured with a big, frothy off-white head that proved short-lived. Aroma of floral hops and orange fruit. Flavour of earthy malt, marmalade and peppery hops, with a moderately bitter finish. Fine. kmacphail (37), Isle of Lewis, Scotland Jul 16, 2008 Quite a surprisingly pleasant beer, sampled as Marks & Spencer Organic ale. It poured a light colour with a larger slightly off white head. The nose was fresh and with a combination of hops with a light, sweet fruitiness. This continued through to the mouth; a nice balance that left a clean crisp taste with a slight note of lingering hops. Not the greatest beer on the planet but fine for a hot summers day. fonefan (4884), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, øko alike. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (180508) cellar (391), Dublin, Ireland Jul 1, 2008 clear golden amber, nice head, major notes of fruit, peach, minor notes of spices and roasted malt, sweet and little bitter. berkshire_john (1106), Bracknell, Berkshire, England Apr 27, 2008 50cl bottle as Marks & Spencer Oranic Ale.
