Jun 2, 2008 Dark brown with a red hue and a creamy head. This mix between a Porter and an Old Ale has a sweet aroma with notes of roasted malt, caramel and coffee. The flavour has sweetness, notes of roasted malt, light coffee, caramel, candy sugar and dried fruits. The mix is OK, just not one I would buy again.

Feb 16, 2008 Bottle from Tesco. Dark mahogany colour with a decent tan head. Aroma of plums, roast malt and molasses. Malty fruit flavour with preserved fruit and spice, and a light bitter finish. Enjoyable.
