Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
Ingredients: Water; Malted Barley; Hops.
A blend of two beers: A strong ale, warming and malty, combined with a Porter style ale with rich roasted malt characters on a background of good hop flavour and aroma. The two beers are brewed and fermented separately then blended together in a warm conditioning vessel to allow the two ales to mature.

Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised. Dark brown with only slight head, flat. Sweet but tart old ale, lots of burnt and fruity notes, toffee, plum, apple and chocolate malt with a bready, yeasty background. The alcohol is masked in the sweetness. It’s ok without being memorable.

Bottle. Dark brown with a beige head. Great roasted aroma. Bread, burnt caramel. Sweetish flavours, burnt malts. Body could be more substantial for all the flavours. Quite nice if somewhat on the sweet side.
