Plums, leaves and chocolate aroma. Soft caramel flavor, marmalade and roast, pithy hop bitterness. Something weedy about this in the first few sips seemed to pass, and ended up at least pleasant. The flavour is full with lots of roasted malt, that gives hints of caramel and licorice and I also find notes of fruit. The finish is lightly bitter. DJMonarch (6941), Northwich, Cheshire, England
