Cask, Far From The Madding Crowd, Oxford. Used copper, off-white head that lingers nicely. Plums, leaves and chocolate aroma. Soft caramel flavor, marmalade and roast, pithy hop bitterness. Something weedy about this in the first few sips seemed to pass, and ended up at least pleasant.

Cask @ Guildford Arms, november 07. Clear, shinny ruby color with a small, compact beige head. Deep, dark crystal malts flavor with some very slight dried fruits notes. Medium palate, rounded. Neutral aroma, some plummy notes. Ok, ruby, caramelly ale.

(cask at Charlie´s bar, cph, august ´07) Never get´s tired of scottish brews, they just hold a place in my heart witch makes the beers so much better than they probaly are, but hey. Dark, malty brew, no head and a tad of bog in it too.

Dark brown, nice head and a malty aroma. The flavour is full with lots of roasted malt, that gives hints of caramel and licorice and I also find notes of fruit. The finish is lightly bitter.
