Aug 4, 2007 Cask at the Halfway House, Edinburgh, 29/12/06. Pours a clear gokd with a slight head and some lacing. Has a fantastic smoky whisky scent, but the flavour sees caught between two stools. It starts sweet and then goes over to bitterness, with whisky hints. Medium weight to the palate and a good lingering aftertaste. This is an interesting beer that is well worth sampling if you can find it.

Dec 30, 2004 Cask Conditioned at The Say & Sele Arms, Broughton, Oxon. Brown amber beer with slight head. Brewed for the Scottish New Year custom of First Footing. Mild malty beer with some fruitiness, but mostly a background grainy flavour.
