Large sparkler’s white head atop a clear golden body. Soft foamy palate is gently mineral, floral. The whole thing is simple and straightforward, but aptly refreshing and balanced. Even though the aroma is a bit limited, cerealic pale malts feel crisp enough and the hops surf on them with natural brilliance.

Cask at Halfway House, Edinburgh. Deep golden. Grassy hops shine up a body consisting of buttery malt. Sweetish and fruity with medium body. Salty bitter finish. Fairly hoppy for a Broughton and with a fresh feel to it.

Cask handpull at Halfway House, Edinburgh. Gold, lasting beige head. It’s fine. Citrusy bitter with some tangerine. Good condition, decent hop on end and nice citrus flavours overall. Considering I had a whopping hangover, this was perfectly acceptable.

3 Judges. Aroma is caramel and hints of toffee malt but grassy hop dominated. Taste is more balanced caramalt with grassyness and hints of citrus at the end.

Cask conditioned at the Halfway House, Edinburgh. Deep golden to amber colour. Moderate aroma, some fruity hops, a hint of malt vinegar. The flavour is moderately malty and "dusty" / dry, with moderate hops in the finish.

Cask at Halfway House, Edinburgh. Deep golden colour. Grassy hops dominate the flavour. Raw mouthfeel. Light citric with egg notes. Vented, yet again, to early?
