anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Oct 28, 2009 Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish. jodah52 (47), Michigan, USA Sep 25, 2009 Don’t know why this one gets such low ratings. I really enjoyed it. Pours dark gold, with aromas of apples, peaches, and a strong note of honey. Somewhat sweet; a sort of golden sweetness, well rounded. The honey notes were strong on the finish, and it all finished off with a hint of hops and saffron. Really good. alagnak (293), Littleton, Colorado, USA Aug 10, 2009 Pretty light gold in the glass - nose of wet grass and a hint of hops and aluminum. Taste is watery and bland - light flowers and more of the metallic up front, then water, then a slight hop bitterness. The finish actually improved a little after the glass sat for a bit and the bitterness started to cut through the watery aluminum enough to make it palatable. Not a very good effort here. ScottyP (314), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA Aug 2, 2009 Pours a cloudy gold with white head. Aroma of hay, apple, malt. Similar taste, very metallic. Blah. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA Aug 2, 2009 Bottle shared from Barrios’ Massechussets trip. Pours a hazy golden amber with wispy offwhite head. Apple, very old weak hops, and lightly metallic. Not very good, but cool logo. curly (548), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Aug 2, 2009 Pours hazy gold with a very thin white head. Aroma is hay and dirty sweet fruit. Taste’s like i’m drinking from a pond with lot’s of algae in it. Very unpleasant, maybe the bottle is old.
