Pours dark gold, with aromas of apples, peaches, and a strong note of honey. Somewhat sweet; a sort of golden sweetness, well rounded. The honey notes were strong on the finish, and it all finished off with a hint of hops and saffron. Really good.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 10, 2009 Pretty light gold in the glass - nose of wet grass and a hint of hops and aluminum. Taste is watery and bland - light flowers and more of the metallic up front, then water, then a slight hop bitterness. The finish actually improved a little after the glass sat for a bit and the bitterness started to cut through the watery aluminum enough to make it palatable. Not a very good effort here.
