DruncanVeasey (2690), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England Apr 1, 2009 Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton. Still honey amber with a creamy white head. Very meek sultana fruit, maybe apple aroma with slight cheese and hay. Grainy sweet with almost imperceptible soft honey, hay and sultana notes. Breakfast cereal with dried apple bits. Faultless, fresh, dead and flabby. Magicdave6 (5383), London, Greater London, England Feb 20, 2008 Cask in The State bar. Aroma is pale malts and strange hop aroma which as it goes on becomes plasticy. Taste is similar slightly blue tack flavour, its in great shape and condition is really good, but its just a badly made beer. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Nov 25, 2007 cask Aberdeen Beer festival 07 ... Nekronos (2243), Xalapa, Mexico Dec 16, 2005 Updated: Apr 30, 2006It was not as good as the one in bottle, but I liked it, gave me some good memmories and a hapy time. VEry pale yellow, but seems a little like unfiltered, the foam is good, like cirrus clouds. NIce aftertaste. ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 16, 2004 (sampled cask-conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Golden, rich white head. Buttery, grassy aroma hints of crackers. Soft and mellow taste of grass, bread and hops. Short finish. omhper (12147), Stockholm, Sweden May 13, 2004 Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Hazy bronze. Vague citrus nose. Sweet. Letaher and plastic dominate. Clean, rounded malty mouthfeel. Chewy, but bold. Balanced bitter finish with some cane sugar. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England Mar 30, 2004 Updated: Apr 2, 2004Cask conditioned (gravity), Royal Standard, Wooburn Common, Bucks. Light, almost like a lager in colour. Has a really overpowering flavour that I found hard to place. What is it?
