Aug 12, 2004 Old good Jock. Beautiful chestnut/copper colour with an OK head. Aroma of grapes, cherries and dark malts. Rich winey and fruity flavours. Very respectable Scottish ale.

Jul 19, 2004 Pours nicely from the bottle. Tastes like a tea sweetened with Sweet-N-Low. Not bad, but not as good as other Scottish offerings.

Jul 16, 2004 Bottled; Clear dark amber coloured. Huge off white lasting head. Sweet and malty aroma with a light cocoa note. Flaovur is light spicy, malty, sweet and has some vague hops notes. Is rather full in the mouthfeel. Is dry and light sweet in the end. Has a vague bitterness.
