The aroma is strongly malty with some smoke notes and a bit of alcohol present. This one has a medium body with medium carbonation and a very smooth and malty flavor. The finish is long and lingering with malty tones of smoke, caramel, and licorice. Smooth and delicious, this is a great Scottish Ale to drink and savour anytime of the year.

The aroma is a bit dry, but does have caramel and fruit. It has some "beery" flavor and a very slight nuttiness. This medium-bodied beer is a little on the sweet side but still decent overall.
