500 ml bottle (in USA labeled as "1 pint, 0.9 Oz.") Coffee brown color with a small head that disappeared within a minute after pouring. Reasonable lacing left on the glass as the beer was drunk, however. Nose of fruit, pear, plumb, raisins?, and coffee. Carmel, coffee, and malt are the primary taste components with a malt/coffee finish. A good brown/old Ale.

Jul 8, 2008 The aroma is malty and sweet with toffee, cola, and chocolate. The appearance is brown with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s ok but not fantastic.
