Clear light golden ale covered by a large sparkler’s white head. Lightly flowery nose consisting of very soft malts that appear quite oily and vegetal in mouth. Rather dull palate, kinda stale and overly focusing on one-dimensional breadiness.

Cask at Halfway House, Edinburgh. Clear golden colour. Light citric aroma. Very dry mouthfeel, with floral hops and papery, yet light sweet bitterness.

Cask conditioned at the Halfway House, Edinburgh. Deep golden colour, moderate creamy head. Moderate aroma, nothing really stands out. The flavour is quite well balanced between the malts and hops. Moderate fruity notes, hoppy / dusty finish. Okay.

Cask, Halfway House, Edinburgh, RBESG 07. Hoppy and citrusy, some fruity tones. Clear gold, thin white head. Mouth is toffee malt, some brackish hops. Finishes dry. Quite gluggable.

Cask at Halfway House, Edinburgh. Deep golden. Sweet and fruity. Lightly buttery with medium body and rounded malt. Salty finish. A well made, lager-like ale, but not all that interesting.

Cask handpull at Halfway House, Edinburgh. Gold, lasting white head. Fine. It’s a standard gollden bitter, soft in the mouth.

Cask at Merton Summer Beer Festival 06-07-07. Poured amber in colour with white head. Not as hoppy as I hoped, some caramel some hops with nice maltiness, this was a nice beer but lacking in authority a little.
