Aug 15, 2004 Pours deep ruby brown, clear with a tan head. Roasty carmel aroma. Flavor is rich and roasty, with a lingering coffee note. Some smokiness in the flavor and aroma adding a layer of complexity. Decent dark session brew.

Jun 30, 2004 Bottle. Didn’t even taste like a stout, closer in style to a mild. Whataver it is, its still pretty thin, no rich bitter chocolate or roastyness, just a thin sweet mollassesy, lightly toasty crappy stout.

Jun 12, 2004 Darkish blackish redddish with a small, fading head. Aroma is faintly of molasses and damp cardboard. Immediately struck by the thin palate. Flavors are watery, with distant notes of molasses and faint dusty cedar. Watery, slightly bitter finish. Very unimpressive.

Black color. Simple aroma and taste, just some roasted malt, some sweetness, too weak and too poor.
