May 29, 2007 Pours dark mahoganey with a fully receding thin tan head. Aroma of toffee, chocolate, dark malt, plums, and earthy dough. Taste is doughy, toffee, crystal malt, spice and brown malt. Not very stouty by US standards, but certainly enjoyable.

May 23, 2007 Full cream, fudgy malt sweetness in the nose. Pitch pour with beige foam. Opens with a slight brininess. Toffeeish sweetness, milk chocolate, a hint of smoke. Creamy and gently roasty. Good, but doesn’t quite satisfy like it should.

May 5, 2007 Brown/black, moderate, light brown head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma has notes of chocolate and the mouth feel is rather thin. The flavour is smooth and mild like many oatmeal stouts are, and it has notes of chocolate and a bit of smoke and coffee. The bitterness is modest, and the overall impression is a bit on the thin side.

Apr 27, 2007 Bottle. Aroma of a little bit of coffee and sweet milky malt. The palate is watery. The flavor is also watery and weak (only hints of roasted malt / coffee). The aftertaste is like a sweet german pilsner or something.

Apr 27, 2007 Poured; Blackish-brown, not much head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt and some oatmeal. This was really a bizarre version of the style. A watery beginning, with some coffee and maybe some chocolate. Long, lingering mystery flavor at the end. Just bland.

Apr 24, 2007 Poured black body however not like a usual stout, more like a coke cola. The nose was the best part. Not much flavor either. Nose was that of smokey chocolate.
