hughie (3016), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jul 7, 2009 Cask at The Live and Let LIve, Cambridge. Amber with a small white head. Faint ashy malt aroma. Slight sourness and biscuit in the taste, also sweet malt. A bit lively. Slight bitterness. Not spectacular. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Jun 16, 2007 STBF07. Aroma is slightly sulphurus, hints of grassyness. Taste is grassy balanced bitter finish, a fine session ale if not exciting at all. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Jun 15, 2007 Edinburgh beer festical 2007 ... Golden orange ... sulphery hop ... fruity hop ... bitter thats nothing exciting. Very hoppy in linger. Nekronos (2261), Xalapa, Mexico May 28, 2006 NOt that interesting but not annoying. It is a seasonal and it is in some festivals right now. NIce foam. imdownthepub (5089), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jul 18, 2004 Cask Conditioned at Hook Norton Beer Fest 04. Yellow gold colour wih no head, hazed, unsettled. A big problem with this festival, the beers were not in great condition mostly and this suffered more than mast. Yeasty, dry beer with particles, could detect some lemony hop and I’m guessing it would be a decent pint under normal circumstances.
