Clear amber with tiny white head. Sweet fruity with toasted malt, hops and caramel notes. Ends discrete bitter.

Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised. Reddish amber with short head. Slightly vegetable, cabbage aroma leading to aflatish, caramel malty beer a touch on the thin side. There is however a reasonable bitterness within the body to give a refreshing note to it. It finishes off a little on the dull side. It’s ok but without getting anywhere.

Bottle. Sweet, honey hoppy aroma. Copper in colour with a crisp frothy whitish head. Looks awesome. A bit thin in flavour but what it has is a crisp hoppy, malt flavour. Clean bitter finish. Nice beer.

Bottled@Poirotti’s Skotoberfest). Reddish orange colour, with small beigeish head. Aroma is quite normal for a bitter, some wood, grassy hops along with some mild notes of caramel. Flavour is quite malty and bready at first but then turns into a very dry grassy bitterness in the finish. Quite pleasant, but not very special.

500ml bottle (Poirotti, Helsinki, Skotoberfest 2007) Red to orange, self-supporting head. General beery aroma. Very sweet mashy mouth feel. Raw hoppiness too. Sour malt y taste, a bit harsh. Bitter finish.

Slightly hazy orange amber with a thick almond coloured clotted-cream head that forms a 1cm lumpy mattress on top. This looks very delicious. Sweet aroma of barley candy and dried apricots. Very malty palate, some caramel, some stone fruit, and a very bitter finish indeed. This is an exceptional bitter in my opinion.

Bottled. RBESG. Amber colour. Sweet malty aroma with lots of fruitiness. Light bodied, with malty, lightly bitter flavour. Not very pronounced in flavour.
