Bottle from Premier in Halifax. Amber brown body with a fingers worth of creamy white head and nice lacing. (3+) Muted hops aroma, very light earthy notes. Well rounded and balanced, pleasant grainy bitterness with light caramel malt notes (6+). Average palate. This is not going to wow you but I could definitely drink a number of pints of this. A solid session ale!

Amber color. The aroma is a bit malty, some white pepper. Smooth, malty, well balanced, spicy; caramel. Quite long final. Interesting.

Bottle. Amber colour with a off-white head. Light caramel malty, hoppy aroma and a sweet caramel malty, dry hop taste. Medium body and a dry finish.

Pechams beer tasting. Theres a reasonably nice refreshing hops aroma comes off this feloow, but disaprers somewhere along the line. Taste is also very hopy with the bittering hops winning, dry finish.

Well, this was a little booring, but light for being an Ale, but it was nice, just a little insipit compared with the others.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful dark amber with a small, fine almost Guinness-like head. Very high pressure in this bottle making the beer flood. Presumably unfiltered. Very marked hop bitterness atop a malty base. Perhaps a bit too bitter for me. 251003

Nice dark copper colour, head is off white and fluffy, big bubbled tho’ and so doesn’t last too long, leaves some small patches of lacework. A mix of malt and friuty hops on the nose, typically Broughton I suppose. Palate is light and rather lacking in character, a slight bitterness appears on the finish. Pretty much, a standard bitter!
