Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Very dark amber with a small off white head. Sweet fruity aroma combining berry, a little citrus and some ashiness. Sweet malty taste, slightly medicinal, with a plummy sourness. Slight bitterness. Unusual and quite appealing.

Cask in the state bar. Aroma is quite sweet, hints of apple and grassy notes. Taste is similar, quite thin though which made it very drinkable.
