Draught. At Mondial 2009 - day 1. Very cloudy pale yellow with a solid white creamy head. Strong aroma of lemon, coriander, pear and heather (the plant, you sicko). Tastes quite grassy, with lemon and just a hint of banana, very light alcohol presence. Light bodied, very lively and fruity on the palate, with a soft grassy finish - very refreshing, a tad hoppy for the style, but well-balanced and done.

Draught at ’Mondial de la Biere 2009’, Montréal, QC. Pours a very cloudy pale yellow with an average size somewhat-lasting white head. Nice aroma of banana, citrus, other fruit and wheat. Very refreshing flavour, follows the aroma and tastes great. Average bodied. Fantastic! That’s three for three with brewery so far!

Appearance: plain light golden look , glowing hue , mid white top. Fragmental lace. 3-
Nose: Light wheat character , soft sweet sides , bit citric around . Good nose.
Flavor/Palate : Mid light bodied. Clean , but bit thin , diluted what character with hint of orange. Lighter and bit over carbonated yet still quiet drinkable.

Ok, I may be a bit objective. But I really like this White. Nice citrus aroma that changes as the keg gets older to banana and finally cooked banana. And I think this doesn’t change that it is a great beer. Most refreshing when young and a bit more warming when older.

a touch of hops in the aroma, along with the same yeasty, and citrus notes. the flavour is full bodied, and still quite hoppy, a nice wit.

Pours a pretty very cloudy uneven orange-light-brown body topped by a generous white head, kind of orange juice and milk poured into a brown ale, ugly. Fruity, spicy and citrus nose. Taste is pretty complex. Starts fruity (tangerine, pineapple) followed by the peppery spices along with some astringency. There’s even some hop bitterness in the finish which is unexpected for the style but appropriate in this case. Medium creamy body. Alcohol is very present and warming for such a low abv. Definitely not a standard witbier… Definitely not a standard beer for any style. Not brewed anymore and I miss it more than a fat kid on diet misses cake. 341ml bottle.

Je sais que les blanches (belge ou allemente) ont une couleur jaune très pale et voilé, mais elle était foncé, baige. Un très gros collet et une arome légèrement sucré. Goût: petit mélange de blé, d’agrume et d’épice.
