beermoose (25), Blainville, Quebec, Canada Jun 30, 2008 Ok, I may be a bit objective. But I really like this White. Nice citrus aroma that changes as the keg gets older to banana and finally cooked banana. And I think this doesn’t change that it is a great beer. Most refreshing when young and a bit more warming when older. robinvboyer (1068), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Jun 5, 2008 a touch of hops in the aroma, along with the same yeasty, and citrus notes. the flavour is full bodied, and still quite hoppy, a nice wit. Glouglouburp (2085), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 25, 2006 Pours a pretty very cloudy uneven orange-light-brown body topped by a generous white head, kind of orange juice and milk poured into a brown ale, ugly. Fruity, spicy and citrus nose. Taste is pretty complex. Starts fruity (tangerine, pineapple) followed by the peppery spices along with some astringency. There’s even some hop bitterness in the finish which is unexpected for the style but appropriate in this case. Medium creamy body. Alcohol is very present and warming for such a low abv. Definitely not a standard witbier… Definitely not a standard beer for any style. Not brewed anymore and I miss it more than a fat kid on diet misses cake. 341ml bottle.
