Dec 13, 2009 Cloudy orange-copper in colour with a thin white head, good lacing.
Aroma is very hoppy, caramel malt sweetness, moderate orange citrus.
Flavour is again quite hoppy, orange and grapefruit citrus, quite sweet as well with lots of caramel.
Some alcohol in the mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation.
Finishes hoppy, long and sweet.
A very drinkable IIPA, good balance as well. I liked this quite a bit.

Nov 28, 2009 On tap at Brouhaha. The color is ruby with an off white head. The aroma is of hops but not that strong. The taste is also hops and also molasse, with added fruits. As for being a double I.P.A. something is missing not enough bitterness for my taste.

Aug 25, 2009 Draught. At Mondial 2009 - day 1. Hazy amber with a solid creamy/frothy beige head. Bitter aroma of resin and tangerine zest, leafy with a very sweet malt underpinning. The taste is dryer than the aroma, the leafiness of the hops comes through more - it’s very bitter, right on the edge of harshness. Average body, somewhat carbonized mouthfeel, but a commendably long drawn-out bitter finish: solid, ultimately the harshness faded, I was left with a "well done" and "balanced" thought/note.

Jul 16, 2009 A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. A light restrained c-hops aroma, fruity esters. In mouth, a smooth ale with silky hops, all restrained and enjoyable, with biscuitty malts melding well with the hops. On tap at Brouhaha, June 2009.

Jul 13, 2009 Draught at ’Mondial de la Biere 2009’, Montréal, QC. Pours a cloudy orange-copper with a large fluffy off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma backed by sweet malt. Flavour’s very hoppy, I love it -- it does not taste like 9% at all. Long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Great stuff!

Jun 22, 2009 Appearance: Dark orange/brown with a small cream head. Aroma: Malt, hops, perfume and chocolate. Flavour: Malty, tobacco, chocolate, hoppy with oranges and mango. Nice.

Jun 22, 2009 On tap via randall at the pub. Clear golden with a tiny white head. Below average retenion and good lacing. Aroma is a very nice blend of freshcitrusy and pine hops with a solid malty base. Flavor is also very hoppy but the malty base is not as present as in the aroma. Alcohol is also more noticeable. Bitter finish. Full body.

Jun 20, 2009 Verre de 12 oz, d’un fût au Pub Brouhaha, avec houblonnage en ligne. Arômes de houblon très frais, résineux (Simcoe ?). Robe rousse et claire, belle effervescence. Assez ronde en bouche, le malt caramel est accompagné d’une touche fruitée (la levure ?) et d’un houblon très frais (agrumes, résine). Finale plutôt amère, mais bien intégrée à la bière. L’alcool demeure bien dissimulé.
