| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 25, 2009 In short: A yeasty Belgian blonde ale with a refreshing orange and floral character. Highly drinkable.
How: Cask at brewpub
The look: Cloudy orange blonde body topped by a large white head
In long: A pleasant nose of orange cake lying on a flowers bed. Very nice cushiony monthfeel. The cask conditioning was very appropriate for this session brew. Taste is just like the nose. Orange and citrus, cake-like maltiness, refreshing floral notes, yeasty, a little floury sensation. Not an intense beer, this is a soft beer that is very refreshing and with a nourishing doughy body. A session Belgian ale with an North American pale ale attitude. An easy to drink brew, the type of beer that I will certainly drink in large quantities with friends. If I ever make any.
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2008 another yeasty beer from this brewery. Seems like all their beers have a distinct yeasty aroma. Lots of ripe fruit in the aroma, along with some decent crisp hops, a nice ale. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
