Cloudy orange with a fluffy-creamy off-white head, sticky lacing. Dry and yeasty aroma, fresh grain with grapefruit zest bitterness. The taste followed perfectly - dry, spicy/yeasty, a hint of crushed pine needles; sharp. Average body, moderately astringent-bitter, with a nice long dry finish - very solid, surprisingly bitter, but not off-putting. blankboy (3258), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Draught at ’Mondial de la Biere 2009’, Montréal, QC. First beer in Montreal and first beer of the fest! Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a huge lasting fluffy white head. Aroma’s grainy and hoppy along with some fruit. Flavour of resiny hops, grapefruit, some spices and...roses? Very bitter finish. Average bodied. I believe I would have liked this better had it not been ’hop-infused’ but still a solid effort. garthicus (1314), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
