Obvious presence of liqourice and anise. The only Brouwcafe Scheveingen brew that displays an adequate mouthfeel (although it’s still not impressive). Probably their best brew. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 2, 2002 Updated: Mar 11, 2009Tap@Brewpub, Mar 09, 2.7: Citrus and raspberry aroma. Yellow colour, off-white head, fair lace. Light malty and citrus start, then citric and spices/herbs and caramel, towards the finish flowing into a sourness that’s almost vinegar. Thinnish mouthfeel. Tasted like the keg was too long open on tap. Tap@Brewpub, Dec 05, 3.5: Strong lemon and light herbal aroma. Cloudy, yellow color, white head, very nice lace. Sweet, sour lemon, malty, light bitter. Soft and full mouthfeel. Very refreshing what doesn’t give the Winter feeling but still nice.
