On draft at Brouwcafe Scheveningen. Hazy yellow coloured, small white head. Obvious presence of liqourice and anise. The only Brouwcafe Scheveingen brew that displays an adequate mouthfeel (although it’s still not impressive). Probably their best brew.

Tap, Brouwcafe. Hazy beige color, medium white head. Soft aroma, bit spicy, quite weak. Taste is soft creamy, some anis, gingerbread, slightly sour yeasty, spicy. Spicy and crisp aftertaste.

Has got a very nice orange colour. Strange, but pleasent scent. Very nice beer, spicy. Had it from the tap at the Brouwcafe.

(On tap at the brewpub) Spicy, malty, sweetish nose with some licorice in it. Hazy, amber-orange coloured with a lasting, off-white head. Taste is sweet, malty, some licorice. spicy. Quite a typical winterale.

Tap@Brewpub, Mar 09, 2.7: Citrus and raspberry aroma. Yellow colour, off-white head, fair lace. Light malty and citrus start, then citric and spices/herbs and caramel, towards the finish flowing into a sourness that’s almost vinegar. Thinnish mouthfeel. Tasted like the keg was too long open on tap. Tap@Brewpub, Dec 05, 3.5: Strong lemon and light herbal aroma. Cloudy, yellow color, white head, very nice lace. Sweet, sour lemon, malty, light bitter. Soft and full mouthfeel. Very refreshing what doesn’t give the Winter feeling but still nice.
