Joeh (1892), Buckinghamshire, England May 16, 2004 Cask conditioned, White Horse, Hedgerley, Bucks. Gravity dispense, poured by me. A lively golden ale with a foamy head. It’s malty (bread/biscuit), balanced by medium-sharp lemon. I believe this beer is brewed with lemon, instead of just sharp/citric hops, but not enough lemon to justify it being called a fruit beer, it is simply a golden ale with a hint of lemon.
