Brownings Dunkels

Draft at brewpub. Pours a clear reddish brown color with an large fizzy off-white head that mostly diminshing with fair lacing. Moderate roasted sweet malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium roasted malt flavor with a good balanced bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable beer.

Pours dark ruby with a mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, musky dark bread and lager yeast. Taste is cooked veggies, grainy malt, coarse grain and caramle. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly sticky. A disappointing beer from Brownings.
