Flavor:good bitterness, light grapfruit.... irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA Apr 10, 2004 pint at brewery. pours a very hazy deep amber. The aroma has nice hops, and the flavor shows a good malt/hop balance. not exciting, but clean and well executed. jgb9348 (1846), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Apr 3, 2004 Hazy brown in colour with a very thin white head. Not what i'd expect an IPA to look like, but lets move on. Some hops in the aroma-but mostly vinegar. Medium-bodied; Hoppy up front with nothing following in the taste at all. Aftertaste has hop bitterness and once again, very one-dimensional. Overall, not a great IPA, but worth trying if you care for the style. I had this on draught at the brewpub in Rochester, New York on 13-March-2004. haddon90 (951), Alexandria, Virginia, USA Mar 14, 2004 On tap at the brewery. Deep amber/orange color...cloudy. Slim white head. Mild hoppy aroma. Interesting taste. Not much of a taste. Some hops and malt, but a pretty average IPA.
