The label says "Amber Ale" but it pour more of a golden yellow. Nose is sickeningly sweet with a bit of dirty pennies. Taste was heavily and metallic and, for the most part, unpleasant. Finish was a watery and unflavorful mess. Would not buy again.

bottled. A light belgian w/ a watery feel and obvious alcohol. Not bad & def. easy drinking.

clear amber, though no head. nose is sweet and sharp, obvious aromatic malt influence. Taste is very much malt forward, reminiscent of a dark lager, caramel. Not too bad, actually.

Clear amber with little head. Musty, earthy nose with pale cracker malts. Smooth frothy mouthfeel. Nice taste is lightly sweet caramel with a mildly drying cracker malt flavor to finish. Easy drinking and a good session brew. 378

Clear amber with medium white head. Sweet aroma with caramel and brewing cereal notes. Same goes for the somewhat sweet flavor.

Very mild, waterd down... Not what i was expecting from a Belgian Brewer. Some caramel and spices... a tad smoked. Not bad flavor, just not enough of it. Looks better than it tastes.

Pours clear golden copper with an okay, frothy white head - okay lacing. Aroma is very mild with a light touch of caramel. Okay mouthfeel, but a touch watery. Soft flavour, caramel and lightly tart. Generally, though, it is sweet and uncomplicated.
