Commercial Description:
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Amber color and thin head. Doughy aroma , malty and spicy. Palate is also very malty and overall this is tasty but unspectacular.

Draught (Dickens, Riga) Dark orange, thin head. Sweet mild aroma. Creamy mellow sweet malty taste, some hops follow - but not many, a bit nutty and maybe soapy a touch. OK, but a bit soft - needs more guts.

Pours a light orange with a thick white head. A tad hoppy on the nose with a big sense of fermenting yeast . Taste is confusing. Not too sweet. Not too hoppy. An odd mixture. The finish is where it balances out.

bottle. Beer poured a clear amber with a thin off white head that left little lacing. Brew was very similar to a domestice amber like Karl Strauss.

Pours dark amber. Decent carbonation that goes down smooth, very pleasant malty taste with strange but not offensive cold metallic favor in the finish. I nice choice if you dont want a Belgian Ale with 9+ %

The beer pours a dark, slightly cloudy amber with a thin, beige head. The aroma of carboard, urine, and damp wood. The flavour thankfully doesn’t taste like the aroma, with a decent malty base, and some hop bitterness at the end. Really rather straight forward, expected something more complex. Not a bad beer, but certainly not a great one either.

Amber colour, white head. toasty aroma, fairly chewy and sweet with a light dried apricot and pear aroma. Light plumminess and a sweet richness. Lingering earthiness and toasted malt.

Bottle. Poured with a finger high white head, with a rusty red color to the body. Smells fairly bitter, and fairly fruity. Good lacing. Good balance, being initially malty, and finishing bitter and smooth. Its alright, but I think its darker than what is representative of the style.
