Commercial Description:
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Bottle from Canals. Cloudy amber pour with bread aroma. Yeasty flavor with hints of malt. Really not much going for this one.

The bottle says amber ale on it but when poured its a cloudy golden color (lost in translation). Strong apple aroma. Large head that diminishes quickly. Dry apple taste. A very interesting beer.

0,33 bottle. Amber, clear with almost no head. Juicy and refreshing. Fruity. Interesting taste, though waterish. Medium carbonation.

Appearance: Color reddish amber. Medium head, color ivory and creamy. Aroma: Candied sweet, notes of dried fruits, reminicencias of peach, banana and oranges. Flavor: sweet initially - slight bitterness in the finish. Touches of dried fruits as almonds. To toasted cereals and with acidity-fruty. Finish some metallic. Palate: low-medium body, slightly watery. Medium to high of carbonation. Advisable. (sorry for my english)

Bottle Light golden pour with no head and no lacing. Aroma of light sweet apple cider. Some sweet malts and a bit of fruit in the flavor. Very thin, watery, overcarbonated. Very very bland. One of the worst Belgians I’ve had.

Fancy finding this in southern Indiana. Thanks, Sahara! Bottle. Very sweet and malty aroma with complimentary yeast. Lightly spiced with some citrus rind and caramel. Caramel-colored (translucent) with a large, rocky, pillowy, lacing, rich eggshell head that lasts for ages. Yeasty taste with medium-strong carbonation and oily malt. Only slightly sweet, and not really bitter, but a touch of sourness. Faint dark fruit with stronger lemon, orange, and coriander notes. Possible ginger, possible metal. Otherwise thinnish body and a dry, malty, biscuity, slightly spicy aftertaste. No real blend here. Decent, slightly dull session.

Small white head. Chestnut brown body with intense carbonation. Light sweetish caramel and paper aroma. Taste is light sweet paper and caramel. Tobaccoish aftertaste. Carbonation in mouth. Decent, but boring. (0.33l bottle.)
