Jul 9, 2004 Clear amber color. The nose is oily and sweet. The palate is smooth and slightly sweet. Overall, the beer is good, but not one to think about very long. Gets too sweet towards the end.

This was the most unique and interesting beer in the sampler pack. I really love Piraat, but I’ve had that one before… it’s best after a few months in the cellar though.
Pours a copper / amber body and a medium tan head. The aroma and flavor are in total conjunction! Vast notes of grains; cracked wheat and oats, also, large suggestions of walnuts and Brazilian nuts. This really smells and taste like HoneyNut Cheerios. Sweet beginning and a tart yeasty finish…. I can’t recall ever sampling a beer with character like this!

Hazy amber colour. Not much of aroma, except from a tiny sourness. The flavour brings a porous maltiness and is a little yeasty. Finishes with a milky palate feel.

Jun 19, 2004 Amber, somewhat hazy. Brown/yellowish head. Weak aroma. Flavor is fruity, malty and yeasty.

Jun 15, 2004 I found this a fairly simplistic brew. Starts with a nice white head and deep brown colour. The nose and flavour are sweet, kind of rasin like. There’s a hint of sourness near the end and an awfully stron alcohol presence for a beer that only clocks in at 5% abv.
