Flavor was off. Very much on the vinegar sde of sour but with enough malt hiding in the back to save it a little. Not a good beer. pj1855 (154), Eagan, Minnesota, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 14, 2009 Appearance: Pours a clear, amber body with a smallish, white head. Fine curtains of lace on the way down.
Smell: Pale malts adjacent to slice of crunchy French bread slathered in unsalted butter. Notes of sugar-coated fruits.
Taste: Delicately-flavored, bready pale malts with just the faintest hint of grain. Sliver of butter. Mixture of tart, juicy Golden Delicious apples, pears, and sour lemons. Slightly herbal, slightly grassy hops with a mild bitterness. Sourish yeast character near the tail end. Finishes quite crisp with a final zip of fruitiness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Nearly spritzy, moderate carbonation.
Drinkability: Pleasant and easily drinkable, but leaves you looking for a bit more. gunnar (527), Sandnes, Norway
