Commercial Description:
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Clear amber with little head. Musty, earthy nose with pale cracker malts. Smooth frothy mouthfeel. Nice taste is lightly sweet caramel with a mildly drying cracker malt flavor to finish. Easy drinking and a good session brew. 378

Bright amber color, light foamy head, hoppy nose gaving in his floral aspect, malty note follows through on a medium-bodied palate with small sour apples in a dry malty character and a bitter hop finish.

Amber with a foamy white head. Aroma was complex: spice, fruit, sugar, herbs. Mouthfeel was nothing notable. Perhaps a bit too carbonated. Flavor was spicy and fruit like some herbal tea.

Maybe a got a bad bottle. this is a tart beer with medium malty body. Their is not much to enjoy in this beer. As I said it could be an off bottle.

Pretty basic, although I feel this is under rated. Nice light murky color and a billowing head. Too bad it gave off a weak aroma. Another day, another rating.
