Commercial Description:
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Golden of color with a white head. An aroma of sweets, candis, spice and weak smoky hints. A flavor of malt and caramel - metallic hints?

this amber pours a big foamy off white head that made some snap, crackel, pop noises as it simmered down.the color was a murky reddish orange.i got an aroma of brown sugar, metal, figs, and yeast.the first sip started a bit watery, then came some yeast, then brown sugar, then some cardboard.very interesting brew.

Bottle. Poured a caramel colored brown with a fat off-white head and nice hunks of lacing. Nose is malts with strong caramel. Mouthfeel fizzy and not very enjoyable. Flavor is sweet, and there are lots of odd flavors. Not very enjoyable.

Thanks Jadoreblanche! You’re the best! nice brown/abmer body, accompanied by a long lasting foamy white head. Some lacing left behind as well! Aroma is fruity (prunes?) hoppy, and sweet like cotton candy. taste is sweet, and there are those prunes again. Bitter, and hoppy. Nice bite on the tounge. Fairly well balcned. Nice one!

Pours cloudy amber with a good tan fluffy head. Sweet malty yeast aroma with a sour hint. Alot of flavors going on sour/tart/pear/ light malt. Finishes a little dry and sour. Overall was hurt by the sour finish. I like it but will try again maybe in the summer.

Light amber coloured beer with a rather small off-white head and some little carbonation. Light buttery, malty aroma. Full palate. Finish is full malty and a light bitter touch. Nice one, but nothing special
