Dec 2, 2007 Amber colour, white head. toasty aroma, fairly chewy and sweet with a light dried apricot and pear aroma. Light plumminess and a sweet richness. Lingering earthiness and toasted malt.

Aug 7, 2006 Bottled. Clear, sparkling, amber ale with a decent beige head. Strange aroma with some sour note, caramel and hops. The flavor is fruity and honey-like, with hops. Thin body and a finish with sweetness and fruityness. Strange, but not bad. The finish lasts long, with a fruity hoppiness. Strange, but not bad beer. (060807)

Apr 9, 2007 (bottle, from bierkoning - thanks!) Clear, amber colour with a short, but persistent off-white foamy head. Sweet toast-malty with aromatic notes of caramel and cacao. Moderately sweet flavour, medium body, smooth carbonation. Toast-malty taste with caramel, cacao, light notes of liquorice and subtle fruity notes, getting only a bit stronger towards the finish, turning out to be also slightly nutty, moderately sweet with a light bitterness. Okay, easy going.

Sep 18, 2004 Updated: Oct 22, 2005The tight, frothy head almost explodes out of the bottle and into the glass. I couldn’t do a complete pour from an 11.2 oz. bottle into a pint glass. Orange/amber color and quite hazy with clumps of particles floating around in it. Jul 12, 2007 Bottled. Aroma is lactic with malts, caramel and herbs in the background. Amber color, beige irregular head, few lace. Sour, lactic, even vinegar, bit fruity, flat and thin. Something clearly went wrong somewhere.
